-Steven Paul (Steve Karz) is a lifelong resident of the St Louis Metro area. Growing up pushing a broom in a local body shop Steve learned the in's and outs of working body panels, masking & covering, shooting & blending paint, building and racing stock cars. While serving in the U.S. Army for 6 years Steve gained great knowledge of construction equipment, heavy duty trucks and engine building. During Steve's tenure as a Veteran he was responsible for inspecting and providing a current cost of repair for over 1200 heavy duty trucks that were being auctioned off to the public. To add to his expertise in the maintenance field, Steve was also oversaw a turbine repair facility that troubleshot and rebuilt the power plant for the M1A1 Abrams Battle Tank. After 3 over seas deployments, Steve returned to his roots and joined a large trucking fleet where he worked his way back up the ranks and led seven shop locations for a fleet of 1200 Tractor-Trailers where he was able to transform a fully manual paper shop to an automated warranty dollar generating state of the art maintenance facility that spanned 4 states generating over $200,000 worth of warranty claims in the first year. Steve soon decided he would like to turn back to his roots and go back to his love of the automobile industry. He accepted a position with the 2nd largest auto auction company in the country as a national auto inspector performing lease return inspections & floor plan audits for used car dealerships in Missouri & Illinois. After delivering bad news to dealers and lessee's for five years Steve decided to build a pre-purchase vehicle inspection platform that would allow dealers and used car buyers come together on a vehicle's true condition. This vehicle inspection platform took shape as Test Drive Technologies Vehicle Inspection Solutions which provides dealer to dealer inspections, pre-purchase auto inspections for used car buyers and pre-sale inspection services for sellers. By performing these three types of vehicle inspections, Steve is able to help buyers, sellers and dealerships make better selling and buying decisions. Steve most recently launched The "Nothing But The Car Facts" Show to help everyone in the automotive industry come together and get the inside scoop on which ever side of the fence you may be standing on.
